Saturday morning
Well it's been forever since I've done an update on the weekend.
One of the nice features of blogspot is being able to update from the internet directly, without a program like MS Frontpage. I think there's even a feature where I could email in an update if needed. Cool.
I'm heading off this morning to a bimonthly men's meeting for the church: kind of a combination of fellowship, prayer, and discussing practical matters.
For some reason, I am beginning to worry a little about this upcoming election. For the last several weeks, I have been coolly confident that Dubya will prevail in the end. I still think that will happen, but a small worry has opened up in my mind.
James 1 has been on my heart for the last few weeks, after hearing a message on this chapter one Sunday at church. Enduring trials. Understanding that God is at work during those trials, perfecting me, as Job was perfected (Job 23:10).
